At Cascade Mining Co, kids can experience the excitement of mining for their very own treasures! Each young miner receives a bag of specially prepared soil filled with gems or beautiful seashells to discover. Using sifting boxes and flowing water, kids wash away the soil to reveal their hidden treasures, just like real prospectors. The water flows from our giant water tower directly into the mining area, creating an exciting hands-on experience. Once their treasures are uncovered, each child receives a necklace and jewelry wire so they can wrap their favorite gem or shell and turn it into a unique, custom piece of jewelry they can take home. It’s a fun, interactive adventure where every bag holds a surprise and every child gets to become a miner for the day!
